JBSGE Guidelines for Authors
Articles should be between about 5,000 and 10,000 words, and may describe research in any area
relevant to the journal’s coverage: Business systems (information systems, accounting systems,
HR systems etc), Governance (all matters relating to business governance) or Ethics.
All articles should be submitted as Microsoft Word files.
For referencing, The Author-Date (Harvard) style should be used. If you need assistance with this
there is a good tutorial on the following web site http://www.lib.monash.edu.au/tutorials/citing/harvard.html
To assist authors in formatting their manuscripts to a format suitable for
publication within the journal, we have provided two files. Guidelines For Authors
is an MS Word document containing short instructional guidelines and examples of style use. This can be
downloaded by right-clicking on the previous link and choosing the save option. Alternatively, you could download the
associated template file for MS Word, Article Template,
which contains the styles only.
It is important for authors to closely follow the style guidelines as manuscripts may be rejected on this basis.
